Ferrambo

Here’s a build with a resemblance to the Ford Granada featured earlier this week, in the sense that it’s a regular car with a not so regular engine. This is another big budget build undertaken by an experienced and polished hot rod shop, the kind of place where you can lay down a fat cheque and get a complete car built for you.

The car featured in this build is a 1960 Rambler station wagon, fitted out with the drive train from a 2002 Ferrari 360 Modena. The shop responsible for the whole thing is Divers Street Rods, and true to the name, this is one divers peice of machinery.

The Ferrambo wagon was the recipient of the 2008 Detroit Autorama Riddler Award, arguably the highest accolade a hot rod builder in the big-dollar custom car scene can aim to achieve.
